How It’s Made

We create Yurts ranging from 14 to 30 feet in diameter and build the platform to fit the yurt. A platform build can also include a porch, stairs, footings, site work and even structures like outhouses and outdoor kitchens

We make beautiful custom designed wooden window and door frames, as many or as few as you’d like for your structure. We source windows and doors from a vendor of your choosing, sometimes from habitat for humanity or places that provide pre-owned or gently used items to keep our production as sustainable and budget friendly as possible.

The Lattice, which makes up the structure of the walls, is made from sustainably sourced hardwood saplings and fastened together using high quality hardware that allows it to hold incredible weight. The Lattice is fastened to the door and window frames as well as the skirt board. A tension cable is then added to the top of the lattice which receives the rafters.

The rafters are made from sustainably sourced hardwood saplings and are notched perfectly into the dome on one side and the tension cable on the other. This tension relationship allows for incredible weight bearing capability.

Our roofs are heat sealed marine grade vinyl. Heat sealing instead of sewing ensures complete waterproofing that is suitable for all seasons and weather conditions.

Our inner liners are made from blackout fabric on the inside, and encompass the (type of?) insulation.. This allows for a beautiful seamless finish, with supreme insulating capabilities.

Our Outer Liners are made from Heavy duty 40 mil Duralast material and can be made any color of your choosing.

Keep it simple, or go all out. Our yurts are fully customizable. You can add a porch, a bathroom, a loft, a kitchen, or any other addition that you may need to suit you.
